When Leo's F-117 Stealth Fighter squadron left the U.S. for the Gulf, Leo surprised his pilots by putting a large bag of M&Ms and "BANDT Bucks" in each cockpit. The M&Ms were to munch on for the long solo flight.
Leo made the "BANDT Bucks" by cutting out the picture of George Washington and inserting a picture of their squadron commander Bob and included his Officer's Club credit card number. He made lots of copies and told his pilots to use the "BANDT Bucks" at the Officer's Club when they arrived and their commander (unbeknownst to him) would pay for their refreshments!
